Job description
Our client based near Salisbury is seeking to recruit on an interim basis, for a period of at least 12 months, a qualified Management Accountant to work on a major integration and implementation project. The overall brief of the role will be to work with the Divisional Finance Manager across Corporate Services to construct the budgetary structure for the new organisation, which is due to come into being April 2013. This role will require the individual to seek out and bring together all budgetary elements of existing organisation/departments, which will in time form part of the new organisation. The main duties and responsibilities include: identifying all the relevant financial and non-financial information for inclusion in the project; prepare relevant budgets, ensuring that all data is captured; assess and capture any capital expenditure held within the organisation; liaise with departments across England to capture relevant statistics; provide financial advice and support to the organisations to meet their needs as they transition to the new org. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following: qualified Accountant; exceptional communication skills; strong knowledge of Excel, and Hyperion is advantageous; good research skills along with evidence of investigations; large company background - private or public; commitment to a minimum of 12 months essential; flexibility in terms of being able to travel across England.
