Job description
A hand-on Financial Controller is required by this mid sized business to support the FD following a period of change. You will be responsible for the reviewing the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring that a strong process and control environment is in place and ensuring full documentation is in situ. Additionally you will be producing monthly management accounts, reviewing its accuracy and making key improvements to the forecasting process. You will also be responsible for producing meaningful financial commentary and KPIs and developing a thorough financial forecasting model. Candidates should be qualified, hands-on with have a strong technical background with a proven track record of implementing tangible improvements to the process/control environment. The post holder will also ensure that the commercial drivers of the business are met via accurate forecasting and management reporting. Individuals must have a hands-on approach.
