Job description
My client, a tier-2 Investment Bank, is looking for an experienced Internal Audit AVP to work within their global treasury, Fund and Asset management team - based in London. The role will involve working within a well-established team of 10 Auditors, and offers the chance to manage and develop staff for those individuals with the skills to succeed. Ideally you will be CCAB/IIA qualified or equivalent and have demonstrable tier-1 or 2 corporate banking experience, with a proven ability to lead and deliver a full front to back audit cycle. In addition you must possess an in-depth understanding of the corporate banking and treasury space, including complex banking and capital market products, funds and asset management, M&A and lending and credit. You will be able to identify key risks; credit, liquidity, market - and have the gravitas to communicate at the highest levels to improve controls and internal processes. In return the bank offer the successful candidate the opportunity to gain management responsibility and career progression - deputising for the chief Auditor and helping to mould staff to deliver key milestones within the audit strategy. My client is interviewing now and CVs are required urgently to secure available places.
