Job description

A world renowned and highly prestigious bank based in Central London requires an Internal Audit Manager, responsible for managing/performing operational audits across the Bank’s front, middle and back office operations. You will manage individual audits on a day-to-day basis, including development of appropriate risk and control matrixes and resulting audit programs, ongoing client communications and audit report writing. Due to the small size of the local team, a ‘hands-on’ role will be essential in relation to the completion of allocated audit fieldwork as the incumbent will be expected to perform fieldwork on each audit, in addition to managing assigned staff. Working effectively with integrated Audit teams that may include credit, IT and market risk specialists. The successful candidate must be a qualified Accountant ACA, CPA or ACCA (Big 4 experience preferred). Significant internal audit experience gained within a trading environment of a major international bank, although exceptional candidates directly from the profession will be considered. Post qualified experience required in addition to a solid understanding of Capital Markets products.
