Job description
The role: work with various Investment Banking Business Line groups & infrastructure support areas; assess risk, design & operating effectiveness of controls & provide value added recommendations; participate in front, middle & back-office audits to established standards & time-lines; evaluate business processes, controls & draft management comments & recommendations (ACA/ACCA) & degree; internal audit experience gained within a trading environment of a major international bank, although exceptional candidates directly from the profession; understanding of capital markets products such as fixed income, foreign exchange, their processing life cycle & the associated controls. As well as leading teams you will also be working as one of the team. Communication and interpersonal skills are a requirement to develop a good understanding of business strategy, plans, products, processes performance, risks and issues. Awareness of regulatory and compliance initiatives would be a distinct advantage.
