Job description
A global bank with a footprint in five continents has created a Manager-level in their UK Internal Audit function. These are specific operations and Sales focused roles and will involve UK-wide travel. This is an organisation with a strong track record of development and of promoting from within. This role will cover all operational centres of the business, distribution centres, branches, payment operations, contact centres and call centres. You will be involved in all aspects of an audit engagement, from planning and scoping the review, the identification of key risks, and coordination and delivery of audit fieldwork to budget. This will give you excellent visibility of operations across the organisation, working with stakeholders at all levels. The ideal candidate will have Banking Internal Audit experience from an Operations environment. However, candidates who have audited in a Retail or Payments environment may also be relevant - experience of branch auditing, contact centres and payment operations would be of particular interest. You will most likely be a qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA) and have a 2:1 degree. You will have demonstrable supervisory and management experience. Salary up to £70k plus a generous travel allowance, bonus, pension etc. Contact James Willacy at Austin Andrew for more information.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
