Job description

A global Interdealer Broker has instructed Austin Andrew to search for an Internal Audit Manager for its luxurious Singapore office. Reporting directly into the Head of Internal Audit in the USA this is a high-visibility role and the opportunity to join a growing and entrepreneurial firm. This is an ambitious firm with offices throughout the world, there is a close-knit culture and a strong desire to grow the Asia-Pacific side of the business. You will undertake audits throughout the business, covering Front Office Brokerage, Middle & Back Office, HR, Payroll, Compliance and IT. Using a risk-based approach, this is an end-to-end internal audit role. It will be your responsibility to identify internal control weaknesses and recommend enhancements, follow-up on management corrective actions and maintain audit work papers. The ideal candidate will have extensive Internal Audit experience, ideally from a Brokerage or Capital Markets background, although candidates from a more generalist Financial Services background will be considered. Sound knowledge of various traded products (Commodities, Equities, Financial and Credit) will be highly advantageous. Sarbanes-Oxley experience is a plus. You will have an audit or accountancy qualification. You must be comfortable with circa 40% travel across the Asia-Pacific region. The role is paying up to SG$160,000 per annum.
