Job description

The Permanent division of Robert Half Finance and Accounting is currently recruiting an Internal Audit and Risk Manager on behalf of a large client in the Northampton area. As Audit Manager, you will take responsibility for managing the day-to-day activity of internal audit across Europe and to interact with management at all levels to advise on the implementation of sound business processes and an effective internal control environment. The role will involve travel within Europe and may involve travel to North America, Australia and Asia on occasion. Day-to-day duties will consist of: audit review work; management of projects; managing the global internal audit recommendations; development of a risk based internal audit planning process; training on internal control matters; monitoring and assurance work; development of methodologies and approach; liaising and influencing across senior stakeholders. You will ideally be ACA or ACCA qualified from a large practice environment with PQE looking for your move into industry. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage and coordinate within a fast-paced commercial environment are also essential. Role is paying salary up to £60k per annum plus benefits.
