Job description
Our client, a successful Financial Services organisation, seeks to recruit an Internal Auditor following internal promotion. Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you will undertake a variety of risk-based audits, covering both IT and operational business areas in order to provide independent assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of control framework. This is a business-focussed role that will involve regular liaison with management to highlight areas of control weakness, to promote best practice and to ensure that maximum value is added. The successful candidate will be a qualified or part-qualified Accountant with solid audit experience, excellent communication skills and a good understanding of audit methodology. This is a great opportunity within a highly respected organisation. Skills/experience: solid audit experience; qualified ACA or ACCA; part-qualified considered; ideally knowledge gained within the Financial Services sector; excellent communication skills; strong IT skills; IT audit experience would be advantageous.
