Job description
Duties: to plan, execute and report on internal audit reviews of business units, processes or identified areas of risk exposure across the Group businesses; to support the delivery of the Group Internal Audit plan and any ad hoc reviews requested by senior management; to control the periodic audit follow-up process for all Internal Audits performed across the Group; to contribute to the planning of the overall Internal Audit plan; to support the Internal Audit Director in undertaking any other ad hoc duties in Internal Audit and Risk Management as requested. The principal accountability of the role is to carry out internal audit reviews, as directed by the internal audit programme. This will include: preparing terms of reference based on knowledge and interviews with relevant management and agreeing these the Group IA Director and the; preparing detailed audit plans; liaising as necessary with KPMG, the IA Co-source Partner. Requirements: language skills -a Scandinavian language or; experience in operational, process and/or compliance auditing in a Big 4 or industry environment; confident and credible with senior management in the business; MIIA qualified (or equivalent); experience in planning, and executing audits from start to finish; strong report writing skills; good presentation skills; good MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills; well organised and an ability to work within tight deadlines; a self-starter, able to work alone or with new colleagues without direct supervision; confident and robust; effective communicator, with good influencing skills; experience in planning and delivering audits across multiple sites. Our client: a global Retail business. Salary: £50,000-£60,000 per annum. Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
