Our client is an entrepreneurial business in the Leisure industry with plans to double by the end of 2013 and a growing footprint in Europe. Due to continued expansion and success, the investors and financial leadership have decided that now is the time to introduce internal audit, risk & assurance to their business infrastructure. As an Internal Auditor reporting in to the FD, you will provide assurance to the FD that: revenues and costs are being captured and recorded correctly; cash is being recorded and banked properly; processes (primarily finance but also those involving the assets of the business) are generally being followed; identification of fraud risks, fraud, errors, violation of law; operational: to coordinate and provide input to the Finance procedures manual for the FD; review of process for effectiveness and efficiency; preparation and recommendations for continuous improvement; provide training resource to ensure that the local FCs are clear on the processes that need to be adhered to and assist them on how best to achieve this; induction, training and support to new staff - FC/Assistant FC in new properties from pre-opening phase to first month of operation; training daily income audit, cash handling, internal floats, debtor’s management, deposit management, suppliers management, help installation of online banking and automated production of payment files from Accounting system; training of exact global software; training internal reporting. Candidates who can speak German as well as English will be best suited to this role. Salary & benefits: rewarding salary plus benefits and bonus.
