Job description

We are currently looking for experienced internal audit professionals to join one of the World’s largest and most highly regarded Oil & Gas companies. Their constant drive to remain at the forefront of the natural resources sector requires a world-class internal audit function to provide assurance to the Board over the businesses response to its major risks. Responsibilities: working as part of a team to design and deliver high quality audit work, providing assurance over the effectiveness of controls. Identify control improvements, make recommendations and finalise audit reports with senior management in the business. Take a leading position on assignments, being responsible for project delivery and team management. Use your excellent communication skills to advise and influence key individuals over particular recommendations or course of action. Requirements: you are a high calibre internal audit professional with a strong blue chip background, and qualified from a Big 4 practice firm. You will have gained significant experience post qualification with a track record of delivery within internal audit and controls, identifying risks and making critical recommendations to senior management. Any experience of the energy and natural resources sector is an advantage, though blue chip experience is a must.
