Job description
Duties: conduct financial control reviews across the group's global operations; ensure accounting records are accurate and of high quality and that these are reflected properly in the reported KPIs; review the organisation's global systems to ensure key controls are sufficiently controlled, secure and robust to cope with growth; prepare reports, discuss findings and present them to local management; follow up with internal reviews and external audit findings; identify areas for improvement in the global framework and ensure they are applied across the organisation; conduct Sarbanes-Oxley 404 reviews to assess the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting; assist in preparing documents for the Audit Committee. Requirements: university degree & a professional qualification (ACA ideally); knowledge of both IFRS, Sarbanes-Oxley or controls testing would be highly desirable; strong report writing skills and clear communicator; keen to travel 40%-50% per annum. A global Manufacturing company offers £45,000 - £50,000 per annum. Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
