Job description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Accountant or Internal Auditor to work for a successful and prestigious Yorkshire employer. Working within a busy Internal Audit department, you will find yourself involved in a range of work from risk assessment & reviews, balance sheet audits and process, controls and system review work. Working in a team environment but taking responsibility for individual audit assignments you will complete work, write reports as well as making and following through potential recommendations. It is essential you have either experience of the internal or external audit arena and have worked to tight deadlines in current or recent roles. The department work very closely with all areas of the business and you must be used to liaising with, influencing and gaining information from others. Strong Excel skills are essential as is a good grasp of major accounting systems, for example Oracle or SAP. Opportunities to progress within the business are good.
