Job description
My client is an international multi-site Food Producer providing a wide range of products to the multiple food retailers across Europe. As a result of a further internal promotion the business wishes to recruit an ambitious and talented ACA or ACCA and, to facilitate this, the role is home based anywhere in Yorkshire. You will be joining a highly professional and talented team who seek out challenges, take responsibility for their actions and deliver work that is critical to the business. Your role will be varied and allow you to utilise and further develop, your technical and personal skill-set and establish a strong platform to grow your career in industry. Working in FMCG can only add value. You will be encouraged to take responsibility and influence others with what you deliver. You will be integral to the team and operate in a non-hierarchical environment where you will be able to put your analytical and influencing skills to good effect. With system and process development ongoing, this role is integral to enhancing the risk and control framework. Additionally, playing to your technical strengths, you will also perform quarterly and year end financial reviews of performance which forms a foundation for the work undertaken by external audit; finally, but as importantly, you will also be involved in ad hoc projects and new initiatives which will add to your commercial experience. You will be a qualified ACA or ACCA from a Top 10 firm. You will be passionate about your work and a real team player. You will enjoy an element of independence and thrive on delivery.
