Job description

A 6-12 month role has become available at an international Technology company in the Finance function to cover a maternity leave. The successful candidate will be responsible for the reporting and financial control of overseas offices and separate entities. The role will involve occasional international travel. Some of the main responsibilities of this role will include: ensuring compliance of controls of overseas entities; challenging spend/forecasting of foreign entities; liaising with tax and legal departments to ensure all overseas offices are compliant with local regulations; preparation of monthly reporting; maintaining ledgers, managing the Accounts Assistant on recording overseas expenditure; assisting in the preparation of the statutory accounts. The ideal candidate will have started a professional qualification (CIMA or equivalent) and have a strong background working on Excel spreadsheets, particularly with modelling skills and knowledge of macros. Exposure to Hyperion is also desirable. If you have a strong understanding of financial controls and strive to build relationships and help non-finance staff then please apply for this position.
