Job description
My client is a FTSE 100 Media business based in Central London, and a leader in their field. They are currently looking to recruit an International Finance Manager to work closely with all Finance divisions in the UK and overseas. In this role, you will be working closely with Divisional Finance and IT contacts across the business. You will be ensuring divisional processes and procedures are in line with group financial reporting requirements and compliance, suggesting areas for improvement to ensure financial accounting is timely and accurate, and preparing monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting. You will also be working to ensure ad hoc projects are planned and delivered in line with accounting compliance responsibilities, specifically under Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Requirements: qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA and/or international equivalent; experience within a Top 20 public accounting firm and/or large public company finance department in a technical finance role with PQE; understanding of financial controls, ideally Sarbanes-Oxley and IT controls; an analytical mind and strong commercial acumen, and an ability to communicate with finance and non-finance contacts; excellent communication skills. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading blue chip business with opportunity for progression within this team, or to a role within a Divisional Finance team.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
