Job description
The Body Shop International Plc is part of the L'Oreal family and a global Manufacturer and Retailer of naturally inspired, ethically produced beauty and cosmetics products. It is one of the world's most recognised brands, operating in excess of 2,400 stores in 61 countries. Due to an internal reorganisation, it is looking to recruit an International Head of Accounting reporting to the International Finance& IT Director. Key responsibilities: leading, managing and, developing a team of over 40 people; ensuring compliance to L'Oreal accounting and control requirements & IFRS reporting; delivering accurate group management reporting including KPIs, in collaboration with other Business Partners; ensuring delivery of best practice and process improvement including identification of IT requirements; achieving continuous improvement through the identification and delivery of strategic objectives. The successful candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) with experience of managing and developing large Finance teams, ideally in a multi-site international retail or FMCG Group. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills and a strong technical reporting background.
