Job description
Our client is an international Manufacturing business with its UK head office in the Leeds area. The Finance Director is currently recruiting an Inventory Accountant for a 6 months fixed term contract position, to review and improve the inventory process. With the overall aim to bring control and financial analytical tools to the whole inventory and MRP process, key areas of work for the Inventory Accountant will include purchase orders, goods-in, stores stock accounting, stock to WIP and back orders. The Finance Director is keen to bring an Inventory/Stock Accountant into the business that is willing to roll their sleeves up, dig into the detail, identify root cause of issues/problems with controls then propose and implement solutions. Familiarity with Sage would be very advantageous but isn’t an essential at this stage.
