Job description

Lead Financial Analyst, based in Berkshire, will be responsible for the following: leading the engagement with marketing teams on preparation of investment appraisals for new products, propositions and promotions; ensure key risks and opportunities are identified and fully understood by the key decision makers; through understanding the dynamics of Segment P&L’s and profitability drivers be able to influence product and proposition development; evaluate options to evolve tariffs, propositions and base management plans to optimise performance; ensure the impact on agreed business plans are understood; incorporate impact of channel acquisition and retention spend, including indirect channel commissions; impact on business unit to be incorporated into all approval recommendations; ensure standard formats and models are used and updated, aligning these to the requirements of the Commercial Approval committee; ensure financial and customer behaviour. The candidate: my client is looking for a Lead Financial Analyst with the following skills: commercial finance experience; experience in business case preparation & investment appraisals; strong record of achievement and impact; sound understanding of accounting processes and systems. The company: my client is a global leader in their field. Salary and benefits: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum plus benefits.
