Job description
Job title: Legal Accounts Assistant. Location: Clitheroe. Post code: BB7. Reports to: Finance Manager. Our client is well respected Legal company based near to Clitheroe, Lancashire. We are looking to recruit an experienced Legal Accounts Clerk to provide full support within a Legal practice. Previous legal accounts experience is required ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules. You will be joining a successful organisation that is committed to providing a challenging and rewarding environment. Key responsibilities: to administer client and office bank reconciliation; purchase ledger duties; credit control duties; to process cheque requests for disbursements, nominal, client and office payments and produce cheques; to process receipts for client and office accounts; prepare banking; to process internal and client invoices; to liaise with all staff, clients and external organisations regarding account queries and procedures; to update the database - open and close client accounts; to maintain bank account records; to set up telegraphic transfers; to administer petty cash; any other duties associated with the role.
