Job description
A highly acquisitive International Insurance company who are consistently in the market looking to acquire non-life insurance companies urgently requires an M&A Manager who will report directly to the Head of M&A. You will assist the CEO and a Senior Non-Executive Director on various ad-hoc corporate finance projects which will provide excellent exposure to key operational aspects of the group. The M&A Manager is primarily responsible for: evaluating new acquisitions, preparing financial models and investment analysis memos; assist in various aspects of transaction due diligence, conducted both internally and by external advisors; assist in dealing with acquisition information requirements of acquisition finance lending banks and internal committees; prepare financial models and presentations for various financing requirements both at an acquisition and group level. The M&A Manager will ideally be degree educated (economics or business related) with proven corporate finance/M&A/insurance transaction services/insurance audit experience within non-life insurance/reinsurance sector. Strong financial modelling skills are essential! Where UK qualifications are specified we will take into account overseas equivalents.
