Job description

An international Manufacturing business is seeking a new Management Accountant to join their growing Finance team, reporting to the Group FC. Role and responsibilities: to maintain general ledgers of the various Group legal entities ensuring accuracy that they correctly reflect the sales, margin, cost and balance sheet transactions of the business; to provide monthly management accounts to Group and to the UK business divisions to enable consolidated results to be prepared and to enable the Management teams of the business divisions to assess financial performance and results against budgets, forecasts and prior periods; to liaise with other teams with Finance shared service to ensure accurate recording of all accounting entries including sales ledger, purchase ledger and banking transactions. experience: essential: part-qualified in CIMA or ACCA; experience reporting to and working with senior business stakeholders to produce reports; competent on Excel to v-lookups and pivot tables; experience in a Management Accountant or Assistant Accountant role; desirable: experience of variance analysis.
