Job description

A Management Accountant is required by high-growth SME business to support the FD and the Senior Management team. You will be responsible for preparing periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, monthly management and control accounts, variance analysis and commentaries. You will also provide regular (daily) financial reports of KPIs and ensure spending is kept in line with the budget. In addition, you will manage expenditure, credit, payroll and investments under the guidance of the FD and interpret and communicate financial data to non-finance Managers. You will supervise 1 member of staff and the role will require you to regular interact with the Managing Director and Operations Director. A part-qualified, qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE Accountant, you will be an experienced Management Accountant with strong technical knowledge coupled with excellent commercial understanding. You must also have excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial matters to non-financial members of staff.
