Job description
My client is an NHS organisation, which is looking to recruit a strong Management Accountant for 3 months. With proven NHS experience, you will be required to come in as an interim and help the organisation through a busy period. Duties will include helping with budgets, monthly management reporting, carrying out costings calculations for Managers, ensuring that agreed budgets are in line with projected figures, explaining variances on the P/L and resolving any budgetary issues with Department Managers. To be considered for this role, you will ideally be a part-qualified or qualified Accountant and must have NHS experience. You must also have experience of supervising a junior member of staff. The ability to communicate with budget holders, senior management and commissioners is essential as this will be a daily part of the role. You must be able to work with minimal supervision, using your initiative to solve problems.
