Job description
Responsibilities (but not limited to): to produce timely & reliable management information for operational expenditure reports on a monthly basis; ensure that Oracle financials ledgers accounts are effectively managed for cost centres, including posting journals & reconciliation of variances; to perform cost centre reviews with Cost Centre Managers to provide understanding & insight into operational expenditure; attend management meeting, providing financial support to teams on operational expenditure; preparation & consolidation of annual budget & monthly reforecast for directorate Non-project expenditure; control & maintain the segmental cross-charging of overheads, ensuring budget, forecasts & actual are clear communicated across the business units; to provide additional management information on a monthly basis inline with Finance management requirements. From time to time provide financial support to project teams on large scale IT projects & contracts. Requirements: qualified member of CIMA, ACA, or ACCA; experience of working in management accounting; good knowledge of budgeting & forecasting processes & techniques; proven ability to work in cross-functional teams; possess first rate numerical & analytical skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels & has experience of analysing & presenting data in spoken & presentation format; advanced MS Excel skills; good working knowledge of Microsoft Word & PowerPoint; experience of Oracle financials is beneficial.
