Job description

Our client, a niche player, is seeking to appoint a Management Accountant. This is a diverse commercially focussed role which covers all aspects of finance and accounting. As part of a small team reporting to the FD, you will provide financial support for all areas of the business. You will assist with the preparation/completion of monthly management accounts, annual statutory accounts, be involved in a systems implementation and take an active role in documenting appropriate schedules and supporting documents as required. You will research, develop and prepare other business analysis reports and liaise closely with non-finance Functions Managers. This pivotal role requires a high level of Excel knowledge plus a very professional, can-do attitude together with a willingness to get involved in the day-to-day processing of data. Applicants ideally will be a graduate, part way through their studies with previous experience within a corporate or SME environment where they have demonstrated accounting experience and have made a difference. Applicants must have an analytical mind and be able to deal with large amounts of data quickly and efficiently by designing and implementing robust procedures to produce precise timely reports.
