Job description
One of three newly created posts designed to support particular divisions from a finance perspective. You will be supporting the Divisional Finance Manager and getting involved in key projects/tasks, some confidential. Roles/responsibilities: deputising for the Divisional Finance Manager to include attending Divisional Board meetings. Ensuring key financial information is available for performance review meetings. Providing analysis of data, spotting trends and presenting findings. Getting involved in improving and developing internal reporting. Understanding changes in costs and their impact on forecasting and planning. Skills/experience: suitable candidates will be qualified or part-qualified Accountants with a strong management accounts/analysis background. Not for profit experience very desirable but not essential. You are likely to have worked within a fairly large team and will be able to work in Central Bristol. Education/professional qualifications: CIMA/ACCA/ACA part or fully qualified. You will be outgoing and naturally analytical with the ability to present your findings in a meeting setting and the confidence to suggest change.
