Job description
A leading company, which continually offers innovative solutions within its field throughout the world, currently has an excellent opportunity for a Financial Accountant/Assistant Controller to join it in a newly created key role. Reporting to the FC, and deputising in their absence, you will be responsible for the production of management accounts for UK and European subsidiaries, including journals and reconciliations, as well as other ad hoc reporting, initiating improvements where necessary. You will also assist with payroll and year end returns, manage PAYE settlement agreements, dispensations, statutory reporting and corporation tax requirements, create stock, sales and cost reports, reconciliation and analysis, maintain the fixed asset register, monitor Capex, and assist with ad hoc project work. Either qualified or Finalist level CIMA or equivalent, you will need effective analytical skills and a proven ability to work under pressure. A background in manufacturing would also be an advantage.
