Job description
A rapidly growing marketing business in Richmond is going through an exciting growth curve. This growth curve has created a fantastic Management Accountant opportunity. This commercial role will be reporting to the Head of Finance, and will be working in a fast-paced Finance team. This Management Accountant role encompasses commercial analysis, management reporting, and business partnering. Key responsibilities: prepare monthly actual and forecast P&Ls for company and clients including variance analysis and commentary; be responsible for all journals (including accruals) to support production of monthly management reports; provide commercial financial bid support through financial modelling and understanding of commercials; pricing for new and existing clients; supporting business through appropriate financial analysis; provide timely and key business performance information to Operational Managers; liaising with Operational Managers to ensure they understand their performance and how improvements can be made; prepare annual budgets; taking ownership for updating and improving existing client profitability models; reviewing company payroll for accuracy; finance support for purchasing and investment proposals; leadership in improved debtor management across the company; reviewing purchase orders/invoices have been raised in line with company rules ie values, detailed description, costs allocated corrected; reviewing expenses and emergency payments for validity. Skills required: qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA); previous experience in management reporting, commercial analysis, and budgeting; strong communication skills, able to work with finance and non-finance staff; experience of SAP is essential.
