Job description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant/Commercial Analyst within a leading IT organisation. Take responsibility for driving operational profitability through commercial analysis and cost reduction. Prepare and present management reporting and commercial analysis (company and client P&Ls and forecasts). Drive Operational Managers to control and adhere to their budgets. Ensuring adequate financial controls are in place and followed. Providing business support for new bids, purchasing and investment proposals. Duties will include: preparation of monthly Actual and Forecast P&Ls for Company and Clients including variance analysis and commentary; be responsible for all journals (including accruals) to support production of monthly management reports; provide commercial financial bid support through financial modelling and understanding of commercials; pricing for new and existing clients; supporting business through appropriate financial analysis; prepare annual budgets; updating and improving existing client profitability models; finance support for purchasing and investment proposals. Role is ideally suited to a CCAB part-qualified or equivalent who has the ambition, drive and gravitas to develop within the business Ideally you will have been involved in management reporting, commercial analysis, costing and pricing (within service industry) highly desirable. Good communication skills. Able to demonstrate ability to successfully relate financial matters to non-financial Managers encourage and promote innovative ways of working. SAP experience.
