Job description
A Management Accountant is required to attend to the following duties: preparation of monthly reporting results to timetable, provision of financial support to non-financial Managers to ensure the rolling 18 month financial forecast represents the operational activities of the business, challenge the assumptions of the Operational Management team to ensure the forecast is accurate, exercise tight control over third party costs and the preparation of business cases to support capital expenditure requests. The candidate will be at Finalist or strategic level of CIMA or ACCA (or equivalent) or a qualified Accountant. You will have a good working knowledge of both financial and management accounts. You will require good communication skills, as you will be communicating with non-finance staff. Our client is an established business based in Derbyshire. This organisation is looking to expand their Finance team and bring in a Finalist/qualified Accountant. Study support can be given to those whom are still studying for their finals stage. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate. Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
