Job description
A Management Accountant is required for a 9-month fixed-term contract. Working directly with operational teams, the key purpose of this role is to provide value added commercial decision support for existing business streams, plus full involvement in pursuing new business opportunities. You must produce detailed product segmentation analysis & an overview of product margins including the impact of promotional products. This is a supervisory role with a small team reporting to this position. We require a qualified candidate with a proven track record of working with non-finance teams in a Business Partner capacity. Preference will be given to candidates from retail, FMCG & manufacturing sectors. You must be able to quickly grasp the fundamentals of the role and operate with minimum supervision. The ability to assimilate a high volume of detailed commercial/financial data and construct clear business plans and analysis is vital. Our client is a listed business with a reputation for providing quality products at cost effective prices. They operate in a fast moving & highly competitive sector where finance is regarded as a vital business partner. They operate in a rapidly changing commercial environment and need individuals who are comfortable operating in this type of environment.
