Job description

As a hands-on Management Accountant you will play a key role in supporting the FC, ensuring accurate and appropriate financial information is provided to Managers and Directors to assist in decision-making and efficient running of the company. The role is also about ensuring that the Group’s financial systems are efficient and fit for purpose with appropriate controls, particularly with the expansion of the Company. Significantly the Management Accountant will support Managers with reporting and financial management information as required – acting as a 'Business Partner' and demonstrating understanding of business issues and the relationship to finance activities including assisting the FC in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. The successful candidate will be qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and have strong technical ability with good knowledge of IFRS. We would expect you to have good IT skills, particularly in Excel. Most importantly the candidate needs to be motivated and have the ability to communicate financial principals to non-financial colleagues.
