Job description
This is a newly created role within a successful, growing, commercial organisation, offering excellent opportunities for progression. Duties to include: preparing, overseeing and reviewing monthly management accounts; providing accurate reports and analysis to the business along with comments/advice on how performance could be improved; interacting with other finance functions to ensure that all ledgers and balance sheet accounts are accurate; preparing annual accounts for external publication and working with Auditors to ensure a thorough and successful audit; investigating any discrepancies within the system and working to find permanent and satisfactory solutions; managing and motivating the Management Accounts team to ensure all work is correctly prioritised, deadlines are met and all information is accurate and relevant. Skills/experience: part or fully qualified with experience in Management Accounts function; good technical knowledge; strong interpersonal skills; thorough, with an eye for detail and questioning approach; excellent understanding of other finance functions; keen to make a positive contribution; previous experience can be in professional Practice or industry.
