Job description
Responsibilities: maintain control of project financials by ensuring SAP is a true reflection of Project Managers forecast; ensure SAP is adapting appropriate revenue recognition policies for each project; ensure any deviations to project forecasts are captured, understood and appropriately approved; production of periodic reporting to capture internal and external expenditure and measure against forecast; attend monthly reviews and challenge/appraise project performance and forecasts; creation of review material for monthly board reviews of major projects; assist Project Managers where necessary and give guidance as to the consequences of their forecast changes; to develop existing reporting tools; to ensure that all reporting deadlines are strictly adhered to; project accounting; management accounting; nominal ledger; financial planning; bidding; commercial and MoD costing; stock measurement.
