Job description
Based in South Essex, my client seeks a qualified Accountant to join it as interim Management Accountant. Candidates will apply with a formal accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and should have both management and financial accounting experience gained from a commercial environment. Reporting to the FC, this role will include the preparation of month end reports, year end reports, budgets, forecasts and cash flow. Duties on a daily basis will include preparation of international accounts, variance analysis, participation in the budgeting and forecasting process, fixed assets, accruals and prepayments and balance sheet reconciliation. In the short term your role will also include preparation of the year end tax file and assisting with the preparation of the year end tax pack. Candidates applying to this role should be available at very short notice and able to commit to the three months duration of the role. Strong communication skills are essential, as are excellent organisation skills. You will need to ensure that key business requirements are delivered on time and come to this role with a sound knowledge of management accounting, financial systems and processes.
