Job description
Due to continued growth, our client, a leading Manufacturing business based in Glasgow, has an exciting new opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant. Reporting to the FC, your duties will include: ensuring monthly accounts pack and other financial reports are accurately completed to tight timescales with full analysis and commentary; cost accounting -product costing and analysis of costs; month end duties and reconciliations; quarterly stock takes and associated accounting; margin analysis; budgeting and forecasting; liaising with and responding to requests for information from functional Managers; undertaking financial analysis to aid commercial decision-making. Ideal candidates will be fully qualified (ideally CIMA) with previous Manufacturing sector experience and a sound knowledge of management accounting and cost accounting. You will possess a confident personality combined with commercial awareness as well as strong Excel spreadsheet and report writing skills.
