Job description

Working for a high profile local employer based in offices close to the M5, this is a role for a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with Financial Services experience, reporting consolidated financials for various projects and supporting key project steering committees with progress reporting. Responsibilities include: develop a robust suite of management information for project costs and benefits; responsible for completion of monthly management information for the mortgage integration portfolio; ensure investment reporting is suitable, compliant, timely and informed; ensure that the latest view of investment plans are accurately reflected in the forecasting process; provide support for the month end accounting process; reporting the consolidated monthly financials including suitable knowledge and representation of key risks and opportunities; validation and appropriate recording of project synergies on a continuing basis; develop and maintain effective working relationships with other finance units particularly; retail investment; support key project steering committees with progress reporting; assuring compliance with group and divisional policies and requirements for investment reporting; ownership of the financial audit trail for projects. You must have high Level Microsoft Office. Application skills, strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, good people skills and a team player at all levels with excellent communication skills and proven reporting and consolidation experience within the Financial Services sector.
