Job description
Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a newly created role with a well established business based near the Norfolk Broads. Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day management of the Accounts function; including the maintenance and development of the accounting functions of the company; implementing and developing the MI systems; cash monitoring and control; the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts; preparation of year end accounts and accompanying schedules for audit; the accurate and timely preparation, submission and payment of all returns (including VAT, PAYE, NIC and pension; payroll; preparation of forecasts and budgets; cash flow control; maintenance and control of the company’s accounting needs; to provide support and guidance, where necessary, to ensure efficient functioning of the company’s operations. Candidates will be considered who can demonstrate the following skills and experience: experience in preparation of management accounts; experience of preparing year end accounts; cash management and forecasting; budgetary control; knowledge and understanding of corporation tax, VAT, payroll and taxes; able to work under their own imitative; cost accounting experience; systems and reporting development.
