Job description
Due to a recent restructure of the Finance function, my client is seeking for a Management Accountant. Key responsibility will be to provide financial support to the FD. Duties will include the production of the monthly Accountants, weekly and monthly MI reporting, account reconciliations, budgets and forecasts, maintaining the fixed assets, VAT returns and variance analysis. You will be expected to have an active input to the continuous development of current systems and processes and make suggestions as to how reporting can improve business performance. Ideally, be an experienced Management Accountant with distribution industry background. You will be a confident communicator and have advanced Excel skills; be proactive and meticulous in your approach to work. You will be experienced preparing a full set of management accounts for a similar sized company including VAT returns. My client is a successful SME company based near Trafford Park with offices across the UK. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and busy head office.
