Job description
This international group is well established, has a full order book and has an enviable commercial reputation both in terms of growth and liquidity. Due to maternity leave, a Management Accountant is required to work within the Management Accounting team, to produce, develop and interpret management information for one of the Operating divisions. This role requires significant interaction with Operational Managers and field staff at various locations within the East Midlands, as well as some travel to the UK headquarters in Bristol. The role requires both technical financial skills combined with warm interpersonal skills and diplomacy. Candidates will be qualified Accountants (or part-qualified) who have experience of working within complex management accounting functions, are adept at understanding and interrogating variance analysis reporting. Exposure to engineering or manufacturing environments could be helpful as this role will require some visits to departments and other subsidiaries. The role is to provide maternity cover but as the group is highly acquisitive further career opportunities may develop.
