Job description

My client, a national leader in their field, is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their Head Office Finance team. Reporting into the Finance Manager, the role will initially focus on the following key areas: production of monthly management accounts; assisting with month end close; variance analysis; assisting with the production of the annual budget; forecasting and ongoing analysis; ad hoc project based work. Ideal candidates will have strong Excel skills, the ability to communicate to board level and a keen interest in how a business is run. This role will have particular appeal to those wishing to increase their knowledge of all aspects of accounting including an increased commercial awareness, and will prove to be both hands-on and challenging.
