Job description
My client, a North Kent based Property Development group is recruiting a qualified Management Accountant to join a fast-paced, high profile team within a large finance function. This role reports to the FC but has additional reporting lines to senior board members and the Group FD. Responsibilities will include: preparation of monthly management accounts and consolidation; preparation of yearly budgets and forecasts; reconciling management accounts; production of monthly models for new builds, including joint ventures; involving detailed cost breakdowns, indexation of future payments, budget and sales analysis; monthly KPI reporting; monthly forecasting; WIP reconciliations and calculation of monthly interest charges, including SWAPS, hedging and assessment of bad debt; assessing funding requirements, calculation of loss provisions. In order to be considered for this role you must be a qualified Accountant with advanced Excel skills and you will have a background in construction/property organisations. Experience with funding/interest calculations and investment appraisals are desirable.
