Job description
My client based in Kingston Upon Hull are a highly regarded SME with an enviable reputation for product and service excellence specialising predominantly in the automotive, property and rental sectors. As part of the continued evolution of this highly successful and entrepreneurial business the need has arisen to recruit a high calibre Management Accountant. Reporting to the Managing Director you will take responsibility for the production of monthly management accounts, reconcile balance sheets and monitor daily cash movements. You will also be instrumental in the budgeting/forecasting process as well as provide detailed analysis around stock and sales targets. You will further manage the purchase ledger and credit control functions. As one of a number of businesses in this highly profitable group your remit will also cover company secretarial duties as well being the main point of contact for Auditors at year end for statutory reporting. Preferably with some degree of experience in the Motor industry you will have excellent Excel experience and ideally a good understanding of Sage as a computer software package in addition possess some degree of accounting qualification be it part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or QBE qualified by experience.
