Job description

As the result of a recent merger and increased workload, my client has the need for a Management Accountant. Operating in the service sector, and refreshingly with an upturn in business, this role is an expansion of the close-knit finance team. Reporting directly to the FC, key duties will include budgets, forecasts, reporting to group, reconciliations and tax returns. As the role develops, you will deputise for the FC and ultimately relieve him of a number of duties. You will ideally be an experienced, hands-on Management Accountant who is prepared to roll their sleeves up and provide cover across the department. You must be comfortable to work unsupervised and be extremely flexible; strong Excel knowledge is also essential.
