Job description
The Wildes Group is recruiting a Management Accountant, based in Central Leeds, you will be expected to get involved in whatever work needs doing, but the scope of the role fundamentally involves: monthly management reporting, variance analysis, cash flow forecasting, control account reconciliations, credit control, agents control, voyage control and mentoring of the junior members of the team. You will report directly to the FD, and as the business grows, so will this role. The company is looking for someone who is willing and able to take on new tasks. You will deal with non-finance people on a regular basis, and must be confident in these situations. You will be a qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with a university degree. Other attributes are: strong technical management accounting skills; hands-on experience (willing and able to do basic accounting tasks, and provide cover for other team members); excellent communication and interpersonal skills - the ability to form relationships quickly; a confident self-starter, keen to suggest areas for improvement; able to motivate others; proficient with IT skills.
