Job description
As a Management Accountant, you will be technically strong with good knowledge of accounting processes and controls. Your responsibilities will include weekly reporting, monthly management accounts, monthly forecasts and annual budgeting. General accounting and reporting experience comprises a large part of the role and so previous experience within this remit is essential. You will also undertake ad hoc projects as and when required. We require a part-qualified/fully qualified (or equivalent) Accountant who wants the opportunity to be challenged and flourish in their career. You will have good working knowledge of accounting and reporting software; a high level of competence in Excel is essential and an understanding of JD Edwards is desirable. The ability to positively influence decisions, communicate effectively as well as work efficiently in a team is key. You will also have a dynamic and enthusiastic personality with a strong desire for progression. My client is a well established blue chip business based in the north of Leicestershire.
