Job description
A Management Accountant is required by a leading Insurance business in central London. Candidates must have exposure to Financial Services with insurance experience preferred. Job role: to take a leading role in the preparation and development of financial planning and analysis information for the UK business, including, actual, budgets and forecasts; to assist the team in meeting all reporting deadlines. Key accountabilities: monthly/quarterly management accounts; preparation of management summaries and variance reports; analysis and projection of operating results; assistance in setting targets and development of plans and budgets; improving quality, accuracy and timeliness of information and reports; co; ordination of activities of other members of the team; linking in with other parts of the organisation to get the job done more effectively; perform ad hoc duties as required. Skills: qualified Accountant; strong management accounts background; experience in preparing management reports; strong Excel skills; good communication skills at all levels. This is an immediate requirement and my client is looking to set up interviews next week.
