Job description

One of the UK’s leading IT Services organisations based in the UK is currently seeking a Management Accountant on a fixed-term contract basis for a period of 9-months. The Management Accountant will have responsibility for ensuring robust, timely and accurate information is produced in line with IFRS. They will produce actual results, P&L and balance sheet forecasts and create a relevant model to deliver future reporting. Candidates will manage horizontal cost control and evaluate the P&L and the balance sheet to identify and minimise risk and opportunities. Candidates will be a qualified Accountant with extensive experience of both forecasting and reporting. He or she will, ideally, have experience of accounting for long-term contracts and service contracts. Applicants must have experience of working alongside Senior Managers and Directors and have the confidence to both support and challenge such senior individuals. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated and driven qualified Management Accountant to join a progressive IT services organisation at an exciting time of growth for the business. Giving great exposure to senior management, this role will both challenge and develop. Candidates must have strong communication skills and will be best-suited to someone who is process oriented and results driven.
